He married Anna Friderica Gobelius Dollendorf, Germany, about 1729. Anna was born about 1706 Dollendorf, Germany. Anna was the daughter of Christian Gobelius and Barbara Pontges. Anna died 1768 Dollendorf, Germany, at 62 years of age.

Michael Lahmen and Anna Friderica Gobelius had the following children:

Alkire, Ann H.

Ann H. Alkire, 85, Ashwaubenon, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, following a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 1, 1920, in Sheboygan to Peter and Anna (Nabadinskas) Gelbuda. Ann was a graduate of Sheboygan High School, Class of 1938. On June 12, 1948, Ann married Mark H. Alkire Jr. in Hoopeston, Ill. Ann was full-blooded Lithuanian and was very proud of her heritage. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was dedicated to her faith. Ann took great pleasure in making crafts and sharing them with everyone.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Mark; her children and their spouses, Michael and Bonnie Alkire, Two Rivers; Mary Ann Minner, Green Bay; Mark Alkire, Oconto Falls; Lisa and John Carpentier, Green Bay; her grandchildren, Melissa (Missy) and Randy Janus, Alaina Alkire, Daniel Jobelius, Dustin Jobelius, Katherine (Katie) Minner; a great-grandson, Ian Scott Janus; a brother and sister-in-law, John (Bernice) Gelbuda; two sisters-in-law, Louise Gelbuda, Millie Gelbuda; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Matthew; her brothers, Joe, Pete, Tony and Bill.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Ann Froelich, pastoral associate of St. Jude Parish, officiating. Entombment will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
